<remove> Element for <httpModules>

Removes a reference to a module. The value of <remove> must exactly match that of a previous <add> directive.

      <httpModules>
**         <remove>**

<remove name="ModuleName"/>

The following example removes the OutputCache module.

      <httpModules>
         <remove name="OutputCache"/>
