IActiveIMMIME::GetHotKey method

Gets the value of the Active Input Method Editor (IME) hot key.

Syntax

HRESULT GetHotKey(
  [in]  DWORD dwHotKeyID,
  [out] UINT  *puModifiers,
  [out] UINT  *puVKey,
  [out] HKL   *phKL
);

Parameters

• dwHotKeyID [in]
  An unsigned long integer value that contains the hot key identifier.

• puModifiers [out]
  The address of an unsigned integer value that specifies the keys that must be combined with puVKey to trigger the hot key.

• puVKey [out]
  The address of an unsigned integer value that receives the virtual key code of the hot key.

• phKL [out]
  The address of the handle to the keyboard layout for the Active IME.

Return value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

This method maps to the ImmGetHotKey function.
