getSelection method

Returns an object that represents the current selection of the document.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.getSelection(ppIHTMLSelection);

Parameters

• ppIHTMLSelection [out, retval]
  Type: IHTMLSelection

  An HTMLSelection object that represents the current selection, if any.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
