IBindStatusCallback::OnObjectAvailable method

Passes the requested object interface pointer to the client.

Syntax

HRESULT OnObjectAvailable(
  [in] REFIID   riid,
  [in] IUnknown *punk
);

Parameters

• riid [in]
  The interface identifier of the requested interface.

• punk [in]
  The address of the IUnknown interface on the object that is requested in the call to IMoniker::BindToObject. The client should call AddRef on this pointer to maintain a reference to the object.

Return value

Returns S_OK if successful, or E_INVALIDARG if one or more parameters are invalid.

Remarks

This method is called in response to an IMoniker::BindToObject operation. The method is never called for IMoniker::BindToStorage operations.
