I don't seem to be able to search the Q&A questions for a string in a specific tag. This limits my ability to check to see if the same question has been answered before.
This capability should be added to prevent duplication in question answering.

Richard Hay 1,371 Reputation points Microsoft Employee2023-06-12T13:15:07.9533333+00:00 Potential duplicate questions are listed as a question author composes a new question to see if it has been answered previously. We are currently in a limited public preview that changes that process to try and better identify questions that have possibly been answered already using AI in a feature called Q&A Assist.
However, currently as answer authors are reviewing questions and providing answers, that new customer with their question would have been shown questions that could have potentially answered their question but decided they still needed to ask their question. Therefore, they should get an answer to their direct question.

Formulating a question takes time, which could be avoided if it were possible to search for previous questions within a specific category. The current search function returns too many irrelevant hits.
