To set up a Copilot account or use services related to Microsoft Copilot (including Copilot Studio), you typically need a work or school email associated with a Microsoft 365 or Azure AD account. Microsoft services such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Copilot require these types of accounts due to the nature of their enterprise features, security protocols, and integrations with organizational data.

Unfortunately, personal email addresses like Hotmail, Gmail, or Yahoo are generally not supported for these services.

To proceed, you have two options:

1. Work or School Email: If you're affiliated with an organization, you can use the email provided by them.

You can create an Entra tenant for free and use this tenant as a lab/dev/test environment to signup for a trial of Copilot Studio. Setting up a lab environment will also help you learn your way around Entra
