Bing Ads API

Hello,

We are wanting to use Bing Ads API. It uses OAuth2 authentication. What I noticed is that there is not such a concept as a true server to server authentication. All documentation and examples require that the application have a public facing URL, and that this be done by a person in a physical seat. This takes me back, and I am dumbfounded that there is no such mechanism.

Google and every other major service provides an OAuth2 that is capable of receiving a refresh token without a user clicking a button. The company I work for, and other companies I have ever worked with, do not allow any server to be public facing thats sole purpose is to gather information about our services. It seems like the Bing API is only designed for vendors that offer services to customers via a web application.

The Bing API does not utilize all of the recognized standards of OAuth2.
