Notebook Section Vanished

I was working in a Notebook via Microsoft OneNote Online. I was referencing an image on my iPad next to my computer, and when I looked back at the screen, I was in the section of the Notebook above the one I had been working in. The section I was using has vanished. No one touched the computer or mouse, the internet didn’t go out - nothing. I have searched for the missing section with the search bar, on Microsoft.com, on OneNote.com, in the desktop app, in the Notebook recycling bin. The recycling bin shows a page from the missing section that I deleted a month ago. The section has vanished without a trace almost right before my eyes.
