    Aaron James Flores,

Simple answer, no, unless you're only interested in a stripped down version called Project for the Web which is available via subscription and is accessed via a browser (e.g. Safari, Firefox, etc.).

If you want to use a full-featured version of Project (Project desktop 2010 through 2024) on your Mac, you will need to install a virtual PC application such as Parallels, VM Ware, etc., and then install a Windows OS on that virtual machine.

    Hope this helps

    John

    Dear Aaron James Flores,

Greetings and thank you for querying our platform – the Microsoft Community forum.

You wish to know if there now exist a version of Microsoft Project compatible with Mac.

Sadly, I regret to inform you that the answer is NO as there still isn’t a version of Microsoft Project compatible with Mac. This is because it was designed specifically and optimized for Windows operating systems only, and as such is not compatible with Mac computers.

    Apologies for that.

However, if you really wish to use Microsoft Project on Mac (desktop version), you can make use of the following workarounds:

    • Make use of the stripped down version Project for the Web which is available via a subscription and can be accessed via a browser – Microsoft Project for the web.
    • You can install Windows on your Mac by installing a virtual PC through applications (e.g Boot Camp, VMware fusion, Parallels) and then make use of them to install the virtual operating system (Windows) on which you can then install Microsoft Project. For reference - Using Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows 10 on Mac.

Having installed Windows using either Boot Camp or Parallels, you can then run the installer for Microsoft Project on your Mac.

Keep in mind that in all cases, you NEED to have a valid Windows operating system loaded on the virtual machine before you can load Project.
