Hi Lun Alouidor,
Greetings. Thank you for posting the thread to our community.
To better support you, could you kindly provide a few additional details:
- Which version of Excel are you currently using? (e.g., Excel 365, Excel 2019, Excel 2016, or Excel Online)
- Are you using Excel on Windows, Mac, or through a web browser?
- Is your device a personal computer or one managed by your school or organization?
This information will help us determine whether any limitations or restrictions might be affecting the features you're trying to access.
If you're unable to find the “Options” menu under the File tab, it's possible that you're using Excel Online. While Excel Online is a convenient tool for quick tasks and collaboration, it currently does not support advanced features such as Add-ins, What-If Analysis, or the full Excel Options menu. These features are only available in the desktop version of Excel for Windows or Mac.
To access these advanced features, we recommend the following steps:
- Download and install Excel Desktop (if you haven’t already).
- Sign in using the same Microsoft account you use for Excel Online.
- In Excel Online, open your file and go to: File > Open in Desktop App
This will allow you to work with the full set of Excel tools, including What-If Analysis and Add-ins.
For your convenience, here are two helpful Microsoft Support articles that provide additional guidance:
- Show or hide the ribbon in Office – Microsoft Support
- The menu bar or the Minimize, Restore, and Close buttons are missing in Excel and Word – Microsoft Support
Please don’t hesitate to reply if you need further assistance — we’re here and happy to help.
Sincerely,
