Stop filtering emails to junk?

So far your algorithm in identifying spam/junk mails reached lower than 0.1 precision. I have to dig into my junk mail folder everyday to find emails from my recruiter or even job interviews. Could you please provide a simple option to close the filtering?????????????? It is RIDICULOUS.

    Hi Matt,

Thank you for your honest feedback.

You're absolutely right when legitimate and important emails are being marked as junk, it makes the service feel unreliable. Unfortunately, Outlook doesn’t offer a setting to fully bypass junk filtering. I agree that having an option to send all mail to the inbox even at the user’s own risk would be more empowering. The best workaround right now is to regularly check your Junk folder and create a broad inbox rule like one that moves all incoming messages to a folder). It’s not perfect, but it can help reduce the risk of silent losses.

I really do hope Microsoft reconsiders offering a user-controlled option in the future.

    Warm regards,

    Cherrelyn

    Hi there,

I’m Cherrelyn, and I'm here to help.

Unfortunately, Outlook doesn’t offer a full “turn off junk filtering” option, as it’s built into the service. However, you can reduce it by creating rules to always move trusted senders to your inbox and marking them as “Not Junk.”

I hope this will help and if you have any question please don't hesitate to reply to this thread.

    Warm regards,

    Cherrelyn

There is no way to disable the Junk Filter in New Outlook. The best you can do is Open a browser to https://outlook.live.com/ logon to your Outlook account and check these settings:

View -> View Settings -> Mail -> Junk email

Incoming mail handling = (o) Standard
Security options = [/] Trust emails from my contacts
Senders - Make sure your Blocked senders and domains list is empty.

Add your Junk folder to your Favorites (so you can easily see the Unread Count).

Every time you find something in Junk that doesn't belong there, right-click and choose Report -> Report Not Junk.

If you are using Classic Outlook, you can disable the Junk filter. See:
