Hi, I'm Mite, and here to help.
Can I ask a question? What edition are you playing? Java or bedrock?
If you are playing the Java edition, you can try adding Java to the firewall.
- Open Firewall Settings: Press Win + R, type control→ Go to System and Security → Windows Defender Firewall.
- Click "Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall".
- Click "Change settings" (admin rights required).
- Click "Allow another app" → "Browse".
Navigate to Java’s install path (Default: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk[version]\bin\javaw.exeor jrefolder).
If you don't know the install path, you can type %JAVA_HOME% in the search bar and press enter. You should open the folder where Java is installed. Then, you can find Java.exe under the "bin" folder. Add that Javaw.exe in the firewall rules.
- Select the file → Click "Add".
- Check the newly added Java entry in the list. Then, Select:
Private: Home/work networks (recommended).
Public: Cafes/public Wi-Fi (use cautiously).
Click "OK" to save.
If you are playing Bedrock Edition, you can open the firewall settings mentioned above, find "Minecraft for Windows", and check whether private network or public network is selected.
