Cannot delete notebook from Copilot

Hi,

When try to delete a notebook from Copilot, The below error message displays

"Sorry, we can't delete the notebook" "Deleting notebooks may be restricted by your organisation"

I cannot see any policies restricting this. Could you please help?

    Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A and informed us about the issue, would you mind provide me with some further insight so that I can give you a solution for the issue?

    • A screenshot showing the delete button/option on Copilot
    • Is the notebook link to SharePoint?

    In the meantime, please contact your IT admin and ask them to check with Microsoft Purview retention policies for Copilot, permission in SharePoint, if delete function is blocked by compliance or internal settings.
