My steam version of Wargame European Escalation has a terrible overbright gamma after startup at the intro page making utilisation impossible ,I want to use program compatiblity wizard which I remember would help all sorts of games back in the XP era .Is it not onboard windows 11?

Hi Colin, thanks for your question. The old Program Compatibility Wizard from XP is not in Windows 11 anymore. The same tools are built in. Right click the game shortcut, choose Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and set it to run in Windows 7 or 8 mode.

You can also right click the shortcut and select Troubleshoot Compatibility to let Windows test settings for you.
