First, verify Required Services:
Widgets depend on a couple of background services. Check these:
Press Win + R, type services.msc, press Enter.
Ensure the following are running and set to Automatic:
Windows Web Experience Pack Service (sometimes shows as Windows Widgets Service)
**Microsoft Edge Update Service (edgeupdate & edgeupdatem)**
**Background Tasks Infrastructure Service**
If stopped, right-click → Start. If disabled, set to Automatic and reboot.
