I prefer the Ask A Question button right where it is,
right under our Profile avatar.
I for one open new site in tabs, not Windows, so
there's nothing to resize for me.

As a long time user of answers.Microsoft I've needed learn how to navigate to basic types of operations on Q&A. Such as how to ask a question. Earlier this evening I realized that I didn't know how to do that. I read an article about the topic and learned that I'd find "ask a question" at the upper right of any Q&A page. But that wasn't on the page that I had opened. Here's what I saw:
I didn't see "ask a question."
After some trial-and-error, I realized that I wasn't viewing the entire Q&A screen. I typically have several windows open, each resized so I can see the left-most portion of each of the open windows. Isn't that what Windows is all about?
My suggestion is to put the "ask a question" button somewhere closer to the center of the screen. Perhaps between the Q&A logo and the tiny magnifying glass.
I look forward to your reply.
Regards,
SweetTasha aka Phil
