How to synch one note?

Is any one else having issues with synching on one note? I lost a whole notebook and the app is so glitchy and laggy. I am logged in via my university account but non of my friends are having any issues. No problems with my laptop storage etc as I cleared this down incase this was the case. Everything is up to date. Thanks in advance.

    1. Check if the notebook is closed or needs reopening: In OneNote, go to File > Open (or Notebooks > More Notebooks) and look for it under Recent Notebooks. Select it to reopen.
    2. Notebook Recycle Bin: Go to Notebooks > Deleted Notes > View Deleted Notes. Right-click (Control-click) any items and select "Restore To" to move them back.
    3. Verify via web version: Open the notebook in a browser at onenote.com (sign in with your university account). If it appears there, close and reopen it in the app via Notebooks > Close This Notebook, then use the web link to reopen.

    About the glitch and lag, you can try to:

    Clear out the cache: In Finder, navigate to ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.onenote.mac and trash the Container.plist file

    Reinstall the app: Drag OneNote to the Trash, hunt down any leftover files in ~/Library (search for "OneNote") and grab a fresh download from the Mac App Store.
