grok 4 fast reasoning is down half of the time
I have deployed grok 4 fast reasoning in france central. The model seems great but it's down half of the time. When my app fails I go to the playground and it's the same behaviour. Either "model temporary unavailable" or it just keeps thinking forever.

I experience the same. I cannot increase my quota which is stuck to 50k tpm (because when I try to submit a quota increase request, I cannot see the Grok 4 fast reasoning model in the list, only grok 4 or grok 3).My metrics are the following.

2025-11-18T17:36:45.27+00:00 Any news on this? It's been FOUR WEEKS since it was supposed to be solved by EOD. It's completely unusable. Sometimes it doesn't even answer and I close the playground after 10-15min. The best I could get a few times it's 1min to get a response from "hi"

Even the Chat Playground in Azure AI Factory cannot give a single answer. Simply asking "What is 1+1" results in an endless Request Grok will not answer.

The model has been completely unusable for us, returning no responses or timing out indefinitely, forcing a rollback to Grok 4 non-reasoning (which, while better than Grok 3 due to the larger context window, falls short for our reasoning-heavy use case involving complex multi-step analysis).To help us plan redeployment without further delays:
- What's the current status of the root cause investigation?
- Is there an estimated timeline for resolution (e.g., EOD this week, next week, or longer)?
- Any recommended workarounds in the interim beyond non-reasoning (e.g., region switches or quota adjustments)?
