I haven't experienced more errors but the model is EXTREMELY SLOW. Even simple "hi" responses take a minute or more. it's supposed to be one of the fastest reasoning models https://artificialanalysis.ai/?speed=end-to-end-response-time

@Sridhar M The product guys are still working to resolve the issue seriously? Its been more then a week.

Any news on this? It's been FOUR WEEKS since it was supposed to be solved by EOD. It's completely unusable. Sometimes it doesn't even answer and I close the playground after 10-15min. The best I could get a few times it's 1min to get a response from "hi"

Can confirm this issue. I made a tool that automatically generates documentation for our Python notebooks using Grok 4 fast reasoning. Worked Tuesday, dead today. Even the Chat Playground in Azure AI Factory cannot give a single answer. Simply asking "What is 1+1" results in an endless Request Grok will not answer.

Following up on the ongoing Grok 4 Fast Reasoning outage discussed in this thread, where you've confirmed the product group is investigating. Are there any updates since the last post on Nov 26? The model has been completely unusable for us, returning no responses or timing out indefinitely, forcing a rollback to Grok 4 non-reasoning (which, while better than Grok 3 due to the larger context window, falls short for our reasoning-heavy use case involving complex multi-step analysis).To help us plan redeployment without further delays:

• What's the current status of the root cause investigation?
• Is there an estimated timeline for resolution (e.g., EOD this week, next week, or longer)?
• Any recommended workarounds in the interim beyond non-reasoning (e.g., region switches or quota adjustments)?
