Clipchamp brandkit, project, asset issues

I'm having multiple issues with Clipchamp, both on Windows and Mac, with a Clipchamp premium license. This is for a video of 1 minute and 38 seconds, with some music, 5x text to speech, 8x text on screen, and 10x image.

  1. Windows: We have a company brandkit that is applied when creating/editing a video, but as soon as you export it, the fonts are replaced. These are non-standard fonts and are working everywhere, except when exporting to an MP4 using Clipchamp.
  2. Mac: To work around that anooying 'feature', I decided to open the project on my Mac and see what would happen there. Surprisingly, the video project opens but stays stuck at 'importing' at the 5 second mark. It's been more than 4 hours meanwhile, with zero progress.
  3. Asset: Images added to the video are not saved to the assets folder. I cannot re-use them and they are not even found by the file name in a new project instance.

To my support friends I'd say: Please do the needful. Because all the 'fixes' I was able to find did not work and all the other BS responses about clearing cache, network speed, heavy files are just cringe worthy. Or perhaps Microsoft does not want us to use this tool and take our business elsewhere.

Hello Mike V, thanks for posting this in our community. I recommend first ensuring that you're using the latest version of Clipchamp on both Windows and Mac. If the issue continues, it's best to collect the Clipchamp logs and submit them through Microsoft Support so the team is made aware and can investigate further. Hopefully this helps move things forward.

    Kind regards,

    John Oli
