Where did you get the Office licence, was that pre-installed on your new laptop and if so, before you reset Windows on the laptop, did you open one of the Office apps and log in with your Microsoft account to activate the Office licence and associate it to your Microsoft account?

If you log into your Microsoft account on this link, is there no indication of the Office licence?

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with Windows activation and Microsoft Office after resetting your new Acer Nitro V16 laptop. Here are some steps you can take to resolve these issues:

    1. Windows Activation: After resetting your laptop, if it prompts you to enter a product key for Windows 11 Pro, you may need to retrieve the original product key if it was not automatically activated. You can use the following PowerShell command to check for the original product key:
         $(Get-WmiObject SoftwareLicensingService).OA3xOriginalProductKey

If you find the key, you can enter it to activate Windows.
    2. Recovering Microsoft Office: If your Microsoft Office subscription is not showing up after signing in, ensure that you are using the correct Microsoft account that has the subscription. You can check your subscription status by visiting the Microsoft 365 Admin Center if you have admin access. If you do not see your subscription, you may need to contact your Microsoft 365 administrator for assistance.
    3. Updating Microsoft Office: If the update fails during the restart, try uninstalling the current version of Office using the Microsoft 365 Uninstall troubleshooter, then reinstalling it. Make sure to download the correct version that matches your Windows installation (32-bit or 64-bit).
    4. Clean Boot: If you continue to experience issues, consider performing a clean boot of Windows to eliminate software conflicts that might be causing the problems.

If these steps do not resolve your issues, you may need to reach out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
