Earlier my smartphone was connected with my PC. Now my smartphone is no longer connected, neither by cable nor by bleutooth. In Settings the item Manage Mobile Divices is greyed out. How to fix this?

    Hi,

Were you able to try checking if the Phone Link or Link to Windows app is installed and updated on both your PC and smartphone? When 'Manage Mobile Devices' is greyed out, it often means the Phone Link feature is disabled in Windows settings or by a group policy. To fix it, open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices, and if it’s unavailable, open Run (Win + R) and type gpedit.msc, then go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Mobile Device Management, and ensure it’s set to Not Configured or Enabled. Restart your PC afterward and reconnect your phone through Bluetooth or USB.

Has your device manager shown any driver issue when you plug in the phone? And are both your phone and PC logged into the same Microsoft account?

    Kind regards,

Mobile device management is not an option. Assume Windows Mobility Center is intended? Everything in gpedit is set to default. Why am I still getting "Some of these settings are managed by your organization" when this is a personal computer with no other organizations involved?
