It should be possible to delete one's own post without having to give a reason. I was looking at a question that was supposed to include an image, and there was a notice that the image was unavailable. I commented that the OP needed to repost the image. When I went back to the question, the image was visible, so I wanted to delete my comment. I should not have to make it as spam in order to delete it.

As a moderator, you can delete your own content. Just click the three dots on a comment or answer, and you'll see the option to delete :)

I know I can delete my comment. I just hadn't found the "Off-topic or irrelevant" option. I swear I looked!
Oh sorry for the misunderstanding! Yeah, it's best to not choose spam unless it's really spam. So off topic would be the best option as Yuki suggested :) Glad you found it!
