Delete own post without giving a reason

It should be possible to delete one's own post without having to give a reason. I was looking at a question that was supposed to include an image, and there was a notice that the image was unavailable. I commented that the OP needed to repost the image. When I went back to the question, the image was visible, so I wanted to delete my comment. I should not have to make it as spam in order to delete it.

As per the guidelines on Microsoft Q&A, users cannot delete their own posts without providing a reason. If you feel that your comment is no longer relevant, you can report it as spam or request a moderator to assist with its deletion. It's important to maintain the quality of the content on the platform, which is why reasons for deletion are required.
