Defender keeps my system safe, but the issue happens on every boot. Full scans don't detect the trojan Trojan:Win32/NSteal.SA. Am I OK or should it be completely irradicated?

If the trojan returns on every boot, it suggests that it may be hiding in a location that Defender is not scanning or it is being reinstalled by another process. Here are steps you can take:

    1. Safe Mode: Boot your computer in Safe Mode and run a full scan with Microsoft Defender.
    2. Update Defender: Ensure Microsoft Defender is fully updated.
    3. Check Startup Programs: Use Task Manager to check for suspicious startup programs and disable them.
    4. Use Additional Tools: Consider using additional malware removal tools like Malwarebytes for a second opinion.
    5. System Restore: If possible, restore your system to a point before the infection occurred.
    6. Reinstall OS: As a last resort, consider reinstalling your operating system to ensure complete removal.

If the issue persists, you may want to consult with a professional for further assistance.
