After the update on 11/10/2025 the command ribbon with “copy, paste, move, cut, etc…” no longer exists and i can no longer copy and paste. This is a function that has been around since the begging of excel and needs to be put back into place.

The update has had unacceptable changes!

WHEN WILL MICROSOFT FIX THIS ISSUE!?

    Hi @David Abt

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I'm really sorry for any conveniences or troubles this issue may have caused you.

According to your concern, there are some users have shared same experiences as you do that Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel are experiencing issue with the copy/paste function not working properly. Especially when it starts after a recent update of Office apps, there is a high possibility that the issue is due to new released version having incompatibilities with the current iOS. However, up to now there's no official documents or announcement from Microsoft addressing this issue.

Therefore, I greatly recommend reporting this issue directly to Microsoft so they can acknowledge this issue. The more users who report it, the faster they will prioritize a fix. The product team actively reviews customer suggestions to identify areas for improvement and prioritize future updates.

Thank you again for your patience and for bringing this to our attention. While I can't change the product's design, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions about its current functionality.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
