Hello Melinda,
Here’s what Microsoft’s official policy says, Not all cancellations result in a refund, and eligibility depends on when you canceled and where you purchased the subscription. If you bought Microsoft 365 directly from Microsoft, you need to sign in at account.microsoft.com/services, locate your subscription, and select Manage > Cancel subscription. During the cancellation process, if you’re eligible for a refund, you’ll see the option to request one.
Typically, you can get a full refund if you cancel within 30 days of purchase or renewal, and in some countries (like Canada, Denmark, Germany, Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Turkey, and Israel), you may be entitled to a prorated refund even after that period. If you purchased through Google Play, Apple App Store, or a third-party retailer (like Amazon), you must contact them directly for refunds.
