Hep me setting two accounts right for new passwords

I have 3 accounts, one used here

The two others are locked and out of reach. I have had problems with the passwords and hotmails are directed from email to email to get a code so I can create a new password. It is like walking in a circle

Those two are

<RemovedPII>@hotmail.com former password <RemovedPII>

<RemovedPII>@live.no former password <RemovedPII>

Can you help me? For instance by sending the code to <RemovedPII>@outlook.com?

If not I want them deleted..All your kilometer long "help" pages are confusing and extremely difficult to navigate.

To recover your locked accounts, you will need to follow the password reset process for each account. Here are the general steps you can take:

    1. Visit the Sign-in Page: Go to the sign-in page for Hotmail or Outlook.
    2. Select "Forgot Password?": Click on the link that says "Forgot Password?" to initiate the password recovery process.
    3. Enter Your Email: Input the email address of the account you want to recover (e.g., ******@hotmail.com or ******@live.no).
    4. Choose Recovery Method: You will be prompted to choose a recovery method. This could involve receiving a code via email or SMS. If you have access to your ******@outlook.com email, select that as the recovery option if it's available.
    5. Follow Instructions: Check your recovery email for the code and follow the instructions to reset your password.

If you are unable to recover your accounts using these steps, you may need to contact Microsoft support for further assistance. Unfortunately, I cannot send codes or delete accounts directly.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with the account or login-related issues.

Microsoft only allows codes to be sent to the recovery options already linked to the account. This is to protect your accounts from unauthorized access.

    Here’s what you can do:

    • Go to the Microsoft password reset page: https://account.live.com/password/reset
    • Choose “I forgot my password” and enter the email you want to recover.
    • When asked, select the recovery option you still have access to. If you can’t access any of the listed options, click “I don’t have any of these” and follow the instructions to fill out the recovery form as accurately as possible. This gives Microsoft the information they need to verify your identity.

    About deleting the account:

    • Unfortunately, if you don’t have access to any of the recovery options for a Microsoft account, there’s no way to delete it or reset the password yourself. Microsoft keeps these protections in place for security, so only someone who can verify ownership can make changes.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
