Hi I am MK working for cxl product planning and enabling in Samsung electronics. One of my customers wants to enable our cxl memory product, type3, on Windows OS(build ver. 26100) but I am having problem to enable my devices.I saw the pcie recognition worked fine but driver couldn't recognize the device. It seems like current windows os version is not supporting cxl devices. Can you please check that when you plan to release the new OS which supports CXL?If you wanna have deep dive discussion, you can email me, ******@samsung.com. TThanks in advance for your support!

    Dear 민경 국,

At present, native support for CXL devices is limited, which explains why the PCIe recognition succeeds but the driver does not bind to the device. Microsoft is actively working on expanding support for CXL memory in upcoming Windows releases, and details will be shared through official documentation and release notes once available.

In the meantime, I recommend monitoring the Windows Insider Program announcements and the official Windows release notes for updates on CXL enablement. If you would like to discuss technical details further, please feel free to continue the conversation via email as you suggested.

I appreciate your engagement and contribution to improving compatibility. If this response addresses your question, kindly click “Accept the Answer” so that others with similar inquiries can benefit from the guidance.
