I am afraid to follow your AI advice that was given when I entered the question and move my notebook to another location in the fear that I lose it?
OneNotes does not synch. Item does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user.
I see the folders in one notes online at https://onenote.cloud.microsoft but when I click on a notebook it says Sorry, something went wrong - Item does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user. Technical Details: Correlation ID: 8834dda1-604d-a000-ba1b-ddefe29a5882 - Date and Time: 11/26/2025 9:00:07 AM. The files are on my Mac Studio on my desktop version but not online. Additional, my desktop version say:ssynch error This notebook is read only mode because its location is no longer available. To take notes, again, save a copy to synch this notebook to a new location.

From your description of events it sounds like your onenote may have gotten corrupted, however you did mention that you still have copies on your mac studio for the desktop version, make backups of those, then try to open those same files online, move them to a new notebook just to be safe and delete the old corrupted notebook.
