Forgot login password, and administrator password on Vista

If you've forgotten both your login and administrator passwords on Windows Vista, you can utilize the System Restore feature to regain access. Here’s how to do it:

1. Insert the Windows Vista DVD into your computer and restart it.
2. When prompted, press any key to boot from the DVD.
3. Set your preferences for language, time, and keyboard input, then click Next.
4. Select Repair your computer, choose the operating system you want to repair, and click Next.
5. Click on System Restore and then Next.
6. Choose a restore point where you were able to log in successfully and click Next.
7. Confirm the disks you want to restore and click Next.
8. Click Finish and confirm the prompt to start the restoration process.
9. Once the process is complete, restart your computer.
10. You should now be able to log in using the previous password or create a new administrator account if needed.

After regaining access, consider setting a new password to prevent future issues.
