Hi Team,

I have been using Azure Free trail for 30 days.I have hardly used the services, therefore there is $185 credit is remaining out of $200 on last day of subscirption. All I want is extension of ONLY DAYS not the credits.I need Synapse and Databricks services to practice more which is not free and I can not afford that.

Is this possible to request to extend days by 30 more days???

I dont want to lose my credits like this :(

Thanks

    Hi,

Unfortunately you cannot extend your credits past the initial 30 days. One thing I have seen people do that have already used their 30 days is have family/friend sign up for Azure Free account and have them grant them access to it so they can practice with the free credit.

    Thanks.

    Hello Mitali Kashiv,

Thanks for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A portal

I totally understand your concern about wanting to extend your Azure Free Trial. Unfortunately, the Azure Free Trial is set for a strict 30-day period, and there are no provisions to extend it solely based on time remaining; it's designed that way to encourage users to transition to a pay-as-you-go plan.

After the 30 days are up or after you've used your $200 credit (whichever comes first), you'll need to upgrade your account to pay-as-you-go pricing to continue using Azure services, including tools like Synapse and Databricks. If you don't upgrade, your account will be disabled, and any remaining credits will be lost.

Here’s a bit more on your options:

    1. Upgrade to Pay-As-You-Go: This will allow you to keep using Azure services while continuing to have access to free monthly amounts of specific popular services for 12 months.
    2. Use Free Services: Even after the trial ends, you can still access a limited set of free services without any cost if you keep within their limits.

If you’re hoping to practice without spending additional funds, it might be worth checking out what's available as free services on the Azure platform.

Hope this helps protect your credits and guides your next steps! If you have more questions or need clarification, feel free to ask!
