I have a Azure dev account that I use for self learning. I changed phones and while I see the account in my authenticator app, it no longer shows any access codes. How do I log back into the account if I can't use 2fa.

    Hello @Jamaal Scarlett

If you are unable to access your Azure account due to losing access to your two-factor authentication (2FA) method, you can follow these steps:

    1. Try Alternative Verification Methods: If you have set up multiple verification methods, try using a different method on the sign-in page. This could include options like receiving a text message or a phone call if those are available to you.
    2. Reset Multi-Factor Authentication Settings: If you have another admin in your organization, ask them to reset your Multi-Factor Authentication settings. They can do this by signing into the Azure portal, selecting your user account, and managing the user settings to require you to provide contact methods again.
    3. Contact Support: If you are still unable to log in, consider reaching out to Azure support for further assistance.

    Hello Jamaal Scarlett,

The issue pertains to a tenant lockout, where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary permissions to login and make changes in your tenant.

To resolve this, we have engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. They will reach out to you via email or phone to help restore access to the tenant and assist in resolving the issue.

If the resolution was helpful, kindly take a moment to accept the answer and upvote it 👍 it as a token of appreciation.
