Hi, I mistakenly joined Microsoft Family Safety earlier, but I already left the family group and removed myself using the organizer account as well. Now, there is no family group, no organizer, and no parental account connected.

Even after clearing cache, signing out/in, reinstalling Edge, running FamilySafetyRefreshTask, restarting, and resetting device setup, restrictions remain active.

Issues:

InPrivate mode disabled in Edge

Some apps like ChatGPT still ask for permissions

Shows parental behavior

Please reset or remove any stuck Family Safety settings from my Microsoft account.

To resolve issues with Microsoft Family Safety settings persisting after leaving a family group, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Family Safety Settings: Ensure that the family safety features are completely disabled in your Microsoft account. You can do this by visiting the Microsoft Family Safety portal and confirming that your account is no longer part of any family group.
    2. Remove Activity Reporting: If activity reporting is still enabled, it may cause restrictions to remain active. You can turn off activity reporting in the Family Safety settings.
    3. Clear Browser Data: Since you mentioned clearing the cache, ensure that you have also cleared cookies and other site data in Microsoft Edge. This can sometimes help in resetting any lingering settings.
    4. Reset Edge Settings: If restrictions are still active, consider resetting Microsoft Edge to its default settings. This can be done through Edge settings under "Reset settings".
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact Microsoft Support for assistance in removing any stuck Family Safety settings from your account.
    6. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Windows and Microsoft Edge are updated to the latest versions, as updates may include fixes for known issues related to Family Safety.

These steps should help in addressing the restrictions you are experiencing after leaving the family group.
