My account over 18, I'm not in a family group but i still have the "manage by your family group" setting

    Thanks for confirming and showing the screenshot. Since you already left the family group, the most important step now is to refresh the account policy on your device.

    Sign out of your Microsoft account in Edge, restart your PC, then sign back in with the same account. This forces Edge to sync your updated status from Microsoft’s servers. If the message still appears, go to Windows Settings, open Accounts, and check that your profile is linked to the same adult Microsoft account shown on the Family Safety page.

    Thanks for confirming the issue. Did you ever join a Microsoft family group in the past, even by accident?

    If your account still has old family safety controls linked, Edge will show “Managed by your family group” even if you are over 18. To fix this, sign in at account.microsoft.com/family and remove yourself from any family group listed there. After that, sign out of Edge, restart your device, and sign back in so the policy refreshes.
