Dear Azure Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

As GÜRİŞ Teknoloji, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the support we have received through the Azure for Startups program so far. The $50K in Azure credits has played a significant role in accelerating our development efforts across multiple AI, IoT, and robotics products deployed in renewable energy operations. This partnership has allowed us to build and scale systems that directly support the digital transformation of large wind, solar, and geothermal assets.

Over the past months, we have integrated Azure services deeply into our architecture. Our AI-based predictive maintenance modules, drone and robotic inspection technologies, and high-volume data analytics pipelines all run on Azure compute, storage, and managed services. The reliability and scalability of Azure have been critical for us as a growing startup delivering enterprise-grade products to international energy operators.

With the expansion of our customer base and the deployment of several new modules—including real-time turbine analytics, image-based damage detection, blade-interior robotics, and audio-based anomaly detection—our cloud resource needs have increased significantly. To maintain the momentum we have built together, and to continue scaling our platform sustainably, we respectfully request an increase in our Azure startup credits from $50K to $100K.

We are confident that this additional support will enable us to reach a wider global market faster while keeping Azure at the core of our infrastructure. We value our collaboration with Microsoft and look forward to continuing this strong partnership as we grow.

Thank you in advance for your consideration. Please let us know if you require any additional information from our side.

Kind regards,

İbrahim Kaya

    Hi @İbrahim KAYA,

Thank you for reaching out on Microsoft Q&A forum.

We are glad to hear that the $50K credit under the Microsoft for Startups program has supported your AI‑driven predictive maintenance systems, drone/robotic inspection modules, and large‑scale analytics workloads across wind, solar, and geothermal assets.

We appreciate your continued trust in Azure as the core of your platform.

Microsoft for Startups provides Azure credits based on a defined benefits model. As described in the official program documentation, startups may unlock additional Azure credits when they meet certain usage and eligibility conditions.

    Refer:Unlock more credits

    According to this guidance:

    • Startups can become eligible for additional Azure credits after demonstrating active usage of supported Azure foundational services.
    • This may include services such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, or Purview.
    • Once these usage criteria are met and validated by the program, additional credits may be applied automatically.
    • Microsoft notes that usage review and credit updates may take up to 30 days to reflect in the portal.

These guidelines ensure that increased credits are allocated to startups that are actively building and scaling on Azure.

The expansion you highlighted—real‑time turbine analytics, image‑based detection, interior‑blade robotics, and audio‑based anomaly detection—provides valuable context that reflects strong platform growth and increasing Azure resource requirements.

When reviewing credit increase eligibility, the Startups team generally considers:

    • Current Azure consumption levels
    • Usage of supported foundational services
    • Technical maturity and scalability of the solution
    • Alignment with the program’s benefit structure as documented above

Your request to increase credits from $50K to $100K will be evaluated according to the official Microsoft for Startups program criteria. No further action is required from your side unless the Startups review team requests additional information.

We sincerely appreciate your continued innovation in the renewable‑energy sector and your strong partnership with Azure.

If you need additional support , submit a support request directly to the Microsoft for Startups team with full details on your use cases, architectural footprint, and current/planned Azure consumption.

    • Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal.
    • Select the "?" icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
    • Select "Submit a Support Ticket". Attach relevant documents or screenshot of errors as needed.
