If your volume licenses are not appearing in your Microsoft 365 admin portal, there are a few reasons this might be happening:

    1. Licenses Not Processed: Licenses purchased in a recent order may not yet be processed by your Microsoft partner.
    2. Permission Issues: You might not have a complete list of License IDs or may have acquired full licenses under License IDs that you do not have permission to view.
    3. Separate Orders: Licenses might have been ordered separately from their underlying base license, such as Maintenance, Upgrade Advantage, or Software Assurance.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

    • Ensure that you are logged in with an account that has the necessary permissions to view all licenses.
    • Check with your Microsoft partner to confirm that the licenses have been processed and linked to your account.
    • If you still cannot find the licenses, consider reaching out to volume licensing support for assistance. You can do this by submitting a case in the admin center under Help & Support.

If you are unable to access the admin center, you may need to create an online support request for volume licensing support.

    Hi @Jay Woodall,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reaching out regarding the volume licenses that are not appearing in your Microsoft 365 admin center. Microsoft retired the Volume Licensing Service Center in April 2024 and moved its functions, such as product keys, downloads, and contract details, into a dedicated Volume Licensing section within the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Access to this section requires a Volume Licensing role that is linked to your License ID or agreement. Even global administrators will not see this section unless they have been assigned the appropriate role by the Volume Licensing administrator or reseller.

Here are some steps you can take to help address the issue:

    1. Confirm which account is associated with your original Volume Licensing agreement and ensure it has the appropriate VL role. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center (volume licensing) | Microsoft Learn
    2. If the licenses still do not appear, please contact Microsoft Volume Licensing Support:

    When contacting support, please have:

    • License ID or Agreement Number
    • Company Name
    • Email address originally used for VLSC
    • Tenant domain (e.g., yourcompany.onmicrosoft.com)

When contacting support, have your License ID, company details, and the email address originally used for VLSC ready.

For more details, you can review these Microsoft articles:

I hope this helps you review your volume license quickly. I'm glad to assist and truly hope the information provided has been useful. Please feel free to reach out anytime if you need further assistance.
