When I try to post pictures on one of my Teams channels it doesn't post the picture. I am not sure why.

If you are unable to post pictures in your Teams channel, it could be due to several reasons. Here are a few possibilities:

    1. File Size Limitations: Ensure that the picture you are trying to upload does not exceed the maximum file size limit set by Teams.
    2. Permissions Issues: Check if you have the necessary permissions to post images in that channel. Sometimes, channel settings may restrict certain users from posting files.
    3. Temporary Glitches: There could be a temporary issue with Teams. Try restarting the application or checking your internet connection.
    4. Ownership Issues: If the Microsoft 365 group associated with the team has lost its owner, it could lead to issues with posting files. You may need to assign a new owner to resolve this.
    5. Error Messages: If you receive an error message while trying to upload, it could provide more insight into the issue. For example, if it mentions that your OneDrive isn't available, that could be a cause.

If the problem persists, consider running a self-diagnostics tool if you have admin access, or contact your IT support for further assistance.

    Hello @Nicolle,

Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A forum!

After receiving your information, I tested this scenario in my own environment (Teams desktop app on Windows), and I was able to upload pictures successfully.

    User's image

So, to support you better, could you provide some additional information:

1.Are you experiencing this issue on Teams web, desktop app (Windows or macOS), or mobile app (Android or iOS)?

2.Have you tried posting pictures from a different device? If yes, does the same issue occur there?

3.Do you receive any error message when the picture fails to post?

If possible, please share a screenshot of what you see when the upload doesn’t work. I will help you blur or hide any personal information if needed.

4.I noticed you tagged this under “business.” Can you confirm if your account is a work account managed by your organization?

5.Lastly, could you let me know the Teams app version you are currently using?  Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to identify the root cause and find a solution.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I am having this issue on the mobile app. My employees use it to post pictures and descriptions of what they have done for the day. What I did notice is that they are taking the pics with their camera app on the phone and then adding them later, does this matter? When I tested this I first cleared the cache for Teams, turned the phone off and back on. Then I could see that everything they had tried to send had an error. (Thsi could not be previolsy seen) I did try to post a pic, I could see it yesterday but now the phone/app won't show me any of the attempted posts at all. The channel is just blank.
