It sounds like you are experiencing a common issue where Windows recognizes that you are connected to the internet for general use but fails to connect for specific services like the Windows Store or Windows Update. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Network Configuration: Ensure that your network settings are correctly configured. You can review your network configuration to make sure that your computer can access the internet and Windows Update Online.
    2. Use Windows Troubleshooter: Run the built-in Windows Network Troubleshooter. You can find this by going to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Internet Connections.
    3. Reset TCP/IP Stack: Since you've already reset your network settings, you might want to try resetting the TCP/IP stack again. You can do this by opening Command Prompt as an administrator and running the command:
         netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

      Then restart your computer.
    4. Check Proxy Settings: If you are using a proxy server, ensure that it is configured correctly. Sometimes, incorrect proxy settings can prevent Windows services from accessing the internet.
    5. Firewall and Antivirus Settings: Check your firewall and antivirus settings to ensure they are not blocking Windows services from accessing the internet. You may need to allowlist certain services or temporarily disable them to test.
    6. Update Network Drivers: Even though you mentioned checking for driver updates, ensure that your network adapter drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consider additional troubleshooting steps or consult with Microsoft support for further assistance.

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

This issue occurs when there is a miscalibration with the network driver. To sort out the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

These sets of commands will reset the internet connection and recalibrate the internet settings you have.

    Press Windows Key + X.

Click on the Terminal(Admin) or Windows PowerShell(Admin)

Type the following commands, and hit Enter after each command:

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns

If the same issue follows the methods below:

    Do a clean boot:

A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
    • On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
    • Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
    • Close Task Manager.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.
