    Hello Amanuel Abera,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum

The error message “Microsoft Office can’t find your license for this application” usually means Office cannot verify your activation or the installation is corrupted. Here are some troubleshooting steps for you to try to see if it fixes the issue:

Try restart your computer first because this often resolves temporary issues that is happening to your Excel

You should refer to this site on how to use Office repair:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b

I suggest trying both repair options quick repair first then online repair if quick repair doesn't fix the issue.

Feel free reply back to this post after you have tried the method I provided to update me on this issue, I'll be happy to help.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. That error pops up when Office 2016 has trouble confirming your license. Try these fixes:

-Check Activation: In any Office app, go to File > Account. See if it says Product Activated. If not, reactivate it.

-Account Sign-In: Sign in to Office using the Microsoft account you used to buy or activate it.

-Repair Office: Head to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, and select Microsoft Office. Click Change, then Online Repair.

-Update Office: Open any Office app, and go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.

-Confirm License: Go to account.microsoft.com/services and make sure your Office license is there.

If none of these steps helps, the problem could be with your product key or the installation itself.

    Best,

    Rez
