    Dear Mwangarita Niito

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

Note to be clear: I hope you can understand that WPS product is a 3rd party Office product - not under the authority of Microsoft. So, in this post, Microsoft will support you as much as possible to use the application exactly as you want but we will have limitations. I hope you can understand this before trying my methods.

To help you further, could you share:

    • Does this happen with all charts you try to create in WPS Office, or just this one specific file? Which WPS Office app (Spreadsheet, Writer, or Presentation) and exact version?
    • Have you tried creating a simple chart in a different application (like Microsoft Excel or Word) to see if those display correctly?
    • A screenshot of the blank chart area?
    • Your graphics card (check via Settings > System > Display > Advanced display settings)?
    • Any error messages?

In the meantime, please consider trying my suggestions and let me know any new information (if possible, specify the steps you have or are taking that have not resolved your issue) so I can follow up on your case:

    • Ensure your data range includes both labels and values (e.g., A1:B5) > Select it, go to [Insert] > [Chart] > [Pie], and insert > Edit data if needed by right clicking the chart > Edit Data.
    • Right-click the chart > [Chart Elements] > check [Data Labels] > Then, close/reopen the file or press F9 to refresh.
    • Right-click [Start] > [Device Manager] > [Display adapters] > right-click your GPU > [Update driver]. Or download from manufacturer site
    • In WPS, go to [File] > [Options] > [Display] > ensure hardware acceleration is enabled (if available).
    • Go to [Settings] > [Update & Security] > [View optional updates] > [Driver updates] > If a driver update is listed for your graphics card (e.g., Intel, NVIDIA, AMD), select and install it.
    • Right-click the [WPS Office shortcut] on your desktop > Select [Properties] > Go to the [Compatibility] tab > Click [Run compatibility troubleshooter] > Follow the prompts.
    • Open [Command Prompt] > [Run as an administrator] > run: sfc /scannow > Restart after finish
