Same problem here! It goes until 100% and then fails. I've tried 10 or more times.

I've downloaded 2025-12 Security Update (KB5072033) (26200.7462) three times, and each time it fails to install. Any suggestions or is this a problem with the update. My computer is a week old.

2025-12-10T12:47:22.81+00:00 So this is apparently a known issue. Microsoft told me they had a solution, I followed it, and now my days old $4000 ASUS laptop is trashed. Even ASUS cloud recovery can’t fix it.
This greed in microsoft pursuing AI has thinned to nothing Windows engineering/QA and we are all left to suffer for it. Greedy SOBs.

2025-12-10T10:24:38.2933333+00:00 Same problem. Windows Update (KB5072033) (26200.7462) always fails. Manual installation also fails. Does anyone have any idea?
