SWA app stuck with enterprise-grade edge (Disabling in progress)

I have a static web app, that on the Enterprise-grade edge shows: Enable enterprise-grade edge (Disabling in progress)

Tried the command-line: az staticwebapp enterprise-edge disable which returns the same message:

{

  "enterpriseGradeCdnStatus": "Disabling"

}

The status version of the CLI also shows the same.

I can't tell if am supposed to wait longer or if there is an issue. I see some content saying it would take 24-48hrs or up to 72hrs but the tooltip says 20-30 minutes. Is there any way I can tell if this is actually stuck or progressing and how long should I wait?

    Hi @ICAzure1

    Thank you for posting your question on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Disabling Enterprise-grade edge can indeed take longer than the tooltip guidance of 20–30 minutes. Based on Azure backend behavior, factors such as DNS propagation, CDN cache expiry, and TTL configurations can extend the process to 24–48 hours, and in some cases even up to 72 hours. This aligns with existing documentation and community-reported timelines.

    Since the Azure CLI also shows “Disabling”, it means Azure has received your request and is still working on it in the background. Right now, the portal and CLI do not provide any extra details to tell whether the process is simply taking longer or if it is actually stuck.

    For reference, please review the official documentation on Enterprise-grade edge behavior:

    Hope this helps !
