Hello,

I’m trying to redeem my new Azure startup credits, but I keep running into an error when entering my debit card information.

I have tried with all my cards, but I always get the same error message:

"Check that the details in all fields are correct or try a different card."

I have double-checked that all the information is correct, as well. Is there anyway to solve this issue? Or you just simpily don't support Mastercard debit card?

I'm looking forward for your soon reply.

It seems you are experiencing issues with validating your debit card information while trying to redeem your Azure startup credits. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Card Compatibility: Ensure that your Mastercard debit card is accepted for Azure transactions. Some regions may have restrictions on certain card types.
    2. Verify Card Details: Double-check that the name, address, and CVV code you are entering match exactly with what is printed on the card. Any discrepancies can lead to validation errors.
    3. Contact Your Bank: Sometimes, the issue may be with your bank or card issuer. Contact them to ensure that your card is active and able to process international transactions.
    4. Use a Different Card: If possible, try using a different credit or debit card to see if the issue persists.
    5. Check for Regional Restrictions: Make sure that your card is issued in a country that supports Azure payments. For example, some cards may not be accepted in specific regions.

If you continue to face issues, you may want to consult Azure's support resources for further assistance.

    Hey @QKarya ,!

It sounds like you're having a frustrating time redeeming your Azure startup credits due to issues with your debit card. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem:

    1. Double-Check Your Details: Ensure that all information entered matches exactly with what’s on your card. This includes the name, billing address, and CVV code.
    2. Card Type: Virtual or prepaid debit cards are not accepted for Azure subscriptions. If you’re using a Mastercard debit card, make sure it’s not a virtual or prepaid card.
    3. International Transactions: Check with your bank to ensure your card is enabled for international transactions. Some countries have specific card restrictions; for instance, American Express cards aren't accepted in India.
    4. Browser Issues: Sometimes, using another browser or clearing your browser's cache can help. You might also try using InPrivate mode or incognito mode to bypass any potential cookies or cached data issues.
    5. Billing Address: Make sure your billing address is in the same country you’ve selected during the sign-up process. The billing address for your card should match your bank records.
    6. Multiple Accounts: If you’ve previously used the card on another Azure account, it might be causing issues. Try using a different card if possible.

If these steps don’t resolve your issue, here are some follow-up questions that could help narrow down the problem:

    1. Have you tried using a different card, and did you encounter the same error?
    2. What country are you trying to register from? This can help determine any specific restrictions.
    3. Was your card recently issued, or has it been active for a while?
    4. Are you in a work/school account rather than a personal Microsoft Account?
    5. Have you contacted your bank to see if there are any blocks or issues with your card?

Hope this helps, and you’re able to redeem your credits soon!
