Linked In Ads: How to automatically add parameter 'li_fat_id' to our ad's urls?

Hi,

Currently we are trying to gather conversion information from our website and stream them directly to the LinkedIn Conversion API. We do NOT want to install an insight tag, because we have sensitive user data that we need to securely deal with.

It seems from my reading that the parameter 'li_fat_id' is crucial when dealing with the LinkedIn Conversion API, and in our case it would be the only or best way to include any sort of user information in streaming the conversion event, which of course is necessary for proper attribution to the correct campaigns.

The problem is, when our ads are generating the urls, the 'li_fat_id' parameter is missing. Full stop.

I have looked at this guide: https://www.linkedin.com/help/lms/answer/a423304 and done the required steps ( 1. Add insight tag, 2. Enable enhanced conversion tracking ). But still there is no click id's being appended to the ad's urls. I have done a lot of reading and investigation but haven't come up with anything in order to fix this.

Any ideas?
