To resolve the issue, please try these steps in order:
- Remove and re add your Work or school account in Android Settings under Accounts, then try Outlook again.
- To delete an old account, launch the Settings app and navigate to Accounts.
- Tap Account, followed by Delete Account.
- To make a new account, launch the Settings app and navigate to Accounts.
- Tap Add Account, followed by Account.
- Open Authenticator and verify the account is listed and you can approve a test sign in.
- Sign into Outlook on the web to check if it is an issue with account or device.
