is there an option to toggle the color of the battery icon?

following a recent update, the battery icon on the taskbar changed from black and white to colorized. i do not like this and was wondering if there was any way to revert it, as there seems to be no option in the settings to do so.

    Hi,

The colorized battery icon is part of a recent Windows 11 design update, and Microsoft doesn’t provide a built-in setting to revert it.

There’s no official toggle in Settings.

Advanced workaround: Remove the feature flag via Registry Editor

If you want to go in advance work around I can share you how to edit registry editor
