It seems that after the update, your computer is booting into the Aptio Setup Utility, which is a BIOS/UEFI interface. Here are some steps you can take to try to recover access to your computer:

    1. Check Boot Order: Ensure that your hard drive is set as the primary boot device in the BIOS settings. You can access the boot order settings in the Aptio Setup Utility.
    2. Disable CSM: Sometimes, enabling Compatibility Support Module (CSM) can cause issues. Try disabling CSM and see if that allows your system to boot normally.
    3. Reset BIOS Settings: If you have made multiple changes, consider resetting the BIOS settings to default. Look for an option like "Load Optimized Defaults" in the Aptio Setup Utility.
    4. Check for Hardware Changes: If you recently added or changed hardware, ensure that it is properly connected and compatible with your system.
    5. Reinstall Windows: If none of the above steps work, you may need to consider reinstalling Windows. You can do this using a bootable USB drive with the Windows installation media.

If you continue to experience issues, it may be helpful to consult your computer's manufacturer for specific guidance related to your model.

    Hello,

It seems that the most recent upgrade generated a big configuration problem, and the first attempt to fix it just changed the symptom. The little white dash (a flickering or static pointer) on a black screen usually means that the computer has finished checking its basic input/output system (BIOS/UEFI) but can't locate an operating system to load.

Please answer these questions to assist me in figuring out exactly what the problem is:

Do you notice your main hard drive listed by its brand and model name when you click on the "Storage" or "Main" tab in the Aptio Setup Utility, or does it indicate "None" or "Not Detected"?

What version of Windows did you have before the update? Windows 10, Windows 11, etc.?

    Thank you,

Bonjour, je n'ai rien concernant le disque dur dans le stockage ou principal. J'utilisais Windows 10.
