It sounds like you are experiencing connectivity issues with your Bluetooth headphones, which could be due to several factors. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check Bluetooth Settings: Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on in your computer's settings. You can do this by going to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
    2. Device Compatibility: Make sure your Bluetooth headphones are compatible with your computer and are fully charged or have fresh batteries.
    3. Distance and Obstructions: Bluetooth devices have a limited range. Ensure that you are within a reasonable distance from your computer and that there are no physical obstructions that could interfere with the signal.
    4. Update Drivers: Ensure that your Bluetooth drivers are up to date. You can check for updates in Device Manager.
    5. Disable Exclusive Mode: Sometimes, disabling the exclusive mode for your Bluetooth headphones can help. Go to Settings > System > Sound, select your headphones, and in the properties, uncheck "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device".
    6. Re-pair the Device: If the issue persists, try unpairing your headphones and then re-pairing them with your computer. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consider using a different Bluetooth adapter or checking for any known issues with your specific headphone model.

Hi, I am an independent advisor and welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

Let me help you with this issue.

Can you please try the headphones on another computer?

Or try another set of headphones on the same machine?

Disconnect the Bluetooth connection on other devices that it has been previously connected to.
