As a result of an ACCC enquiry, Microsoft has to credit my credit card account $50.00 Australian dollars.

I received an email on 26th November from Microsoft that payment has occurred, but I have not received it

    Hi,

Please note that here in the Microsoft Q&A forum, we are fellow users and do not have account access.

If you are expecting a refund from Microsoft and they have already emailed you that the refund has been processed but it has not yet reflected in your account, it could be due to bank processing time. Have you already contacted your bank to inquire about this? What did they say?

Thanks for your reply. Since you already contacted your bank and they confirmed that they have not received any refund from Microsoft, you can contact Microsoft Billing Support directly. Processing this requires Personally Identifiable Information (PII), which should not be shared in a public forum to protect your privacy and security.

This is a problem as the payment was pending when I checked account, which I feel was strange. When I checked a day later there was no pending payment

This is an incorrect answer. I have talked to the bank, and they have stated there is no refund to process, they haven't seen it. You need to either deposit money in nominated account or get someone to email me with the availability of replying.
