KB5071546 breaks explorer

Just recieved KB5071546 and it breaks explorer.exe. It won't start. From task manager, all programs can be started perfectly happily, except explorer.exe which opens for a split second and then closes (crashes, I suppose).

Can someone at Microsoft please pull out this update ASAP and have MS release a fixed version in the next update round?

    Please try to uninstall the problematic update.

    Once uninstalled, please try pausing updates for 1-2 weeks to avoid reinstalling the problematic update.
