Yesterday the following message appeared on my calendar, "We've Blocked Your Account! Your Photos" A link appears under Notes: that leads to safelinks.protection.outlook.com

It seems that your account may have been blocked due to suspicious activity or security concerns. To unblock your account, you can follow these general steps:

    1. Check for Notifications: Look for any notifications in your Outlook app or email that may provide specific instructions regarding the block.
    2. Reset Your Password: If you suspect that your account may have been compromised, consider resetting your password. You can do this through the Microsoft account password reset portal.
    3. Contact Support: If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, reach out to Microsoft Support for assistance. They can help you unblock your account and regain access to your calendar and photos.
    4. Self-Service Options: If your organization has enabled self-service password reset, you can use that feature to regain access to your account.

Make sure to follow any specific instructions provided in the notification you received regarding the block.

Thanks for sharing the details, Kristina! Try to remove the Malicious Calendar Subscription.

Scam calendar events often insert fake alerts such as “We’ve Blocked Your Account! Your Photos” and include a SafeLinks-style URL to make it look legitimate. They do not mean your account or photos are actually blocked.

    Open Calendar on your iPhone.

    Tap Calendars (bottom center).

Look for any suspicious calendars such as:

    • “Subscribed Calendar”
    • Names you do not recognize
    • Calendars with colored checkmarks you didn’t add

Tap the (i) next to the suspicious calendar.

Scroll down and tap Delete Calendar.

Do NOT click the SafeLinks URL, Microsoft does not send account-block notices through your phone’s calendar app.

See if this helps. If you need further assistance just let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly
